" I'm the old-fashioned type. To me, a kiss from a boy is something special, something not to be given lightly. Lately, it seems to me that a kiss is given much too casually, much too easily, and I think this is wrong. A girl who looks upon it as just something to do is only going to cause trouble for herself and, in the long run, she will not gain the boy's respect. I don't mean she should tease a fellow, especially if she likes him, by refusing to kiss him when she really wants to, but she should make it mean something important. If she can't feel anything for a boy, it's hypocrisy to "pay him back" for an evening out by kissing him. What if he does get annoyed if you refuse him? If he's the kind who thinks you owe him something, you're certainly better off if you never see him again. That's my idea, anyway."
