Rosies son-in-law Cabot is not happy at all about Rosies decision to buy the theatre.He tells his wife Edith that he doesnt want to lose the 100,000 tax free dollars he gets from her mother every year. In the meantime, Mildred,Rosies other daughter is furious.They meet Rosie at her home and try to talk her out of spending her money. Rosie is a little overwhelmed at the opposition but her companion and legal advisor Oliver stands behind her. Oliver tells her selfish children to "fly a kite".
